TEACHING

• The department was offering post graduates Diploma in Sericulture programme from 1980 to 1990 especially for State Department of Sericulture as part of Human Resource Development.
• M.Sc. (Ag) in Sericulture programme was started during 1990.
• Ph.D. (Sericulture) degree programme was started during 2010.
• B.Sc (Sericulture) degree programme was started during 2011.
• TNAU is the third State Agricultural University to offer this programme next to University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bangalore and  Sher -e- Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKAUT), Srinagar.
