3. Green House / Poly House

Purpose: To increase the income of the farmer by growing crops under controlled conditions. Crops like capsicum, rose, gerbera, broccoli, orchid, strawberry, cucumber, ridge gourd, bottle gourd, anthurium etc. Farmers are financed for construction of the Green House/Polyhouse along with the crops.

Eligibility: Individual/Firms/ Companies/ Institutions having experience in modern agricultural technologies engaged in this activity and having minimum of ½ acre owned or leased land

Quantum of loan: Agriculture Term Loan –minimum of Rs.3.00 lacs and maximum of Rs.200 lacs.

Margin: 20% of the Project Cost

Rate of Interest:

For Individuals: 1% above Base Rate i.e. 11%
For other than individuals- Up to < Rs. 25 lacs- 11%
For loans above Rs.25 lacs as per rating.

Subsidy: Farmers are eligible for 50% subsidy under Mission of Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) of the Project Cost. (Back ended Subsidy)

Repayment: Principal and interest will be repayable in half yearly instalments in 7 years including a moratorium of 1 year.

4. Gramin Bhandaran Yojana (GBY)

Purpose: Erection of rural godowns for storing farm produce to prevent distress sale by the farmers immediately after harvest. The unit should be utilised for the benefit of farmers only as per the scheme objectives and to be located outside the limits of Municipal Corporation area.

Eligibility: Individual farmers / group of companies / growers partnership proprietary firms, NGOs, SHGs, Companies, Co-operatives, Agro-processing co-op societies, Marketing Boards and Agro processing corporations

Minimum size of godown 100 MT cost Rs.2 lacs
Maximum size of godown 10,000 MT cost Rs.150 lacs

Subsidy

Subsidy is back ended and will be released in two instalments by NABARD.
25% of capital cost of the project subject to a maximum amount of Rs.46.87 lacs for certain category of borrowers.
33% of capital cost of the project subject to a maximum amount of Rs.62.50 lacs for certain category of borrowers
