PEST MANAGEMENT IN FOREST NURSERIES

INTRODUCTION

With the introduction of large scale plantation programme of forest tree species for increasing biomass productivity, it has become necessary to develop better management practices and improve nursery techniques for raising healthy nursery stock. Nursery pests are a major problem for the plantation managers which cause serious damage to nursery stock and also disturb the scheduled plantation programmes.
